Help pack Christmas gifts for hospital patients

Join the Leicester Hospitals Volunteer Service on Wednesday 27 November for a special gift-packing day at DMU and help bring festive cheer to around 3,000 patients this Christmas. Register by Friday 31 October.

Learn to ride a bicycle for free with The Daria Project

Staff and students from DMU and the University of Leicester, and members of the local community can sign up for free cycling lessons as part of The Daria Project. The next sessions take place on Saturday mornings until 1 November 2025.

Highway changes to New Park Street and Tesco Car Park

In November, Leicester City Council plans to carry out resurfacing improvement works in the Duns Lane area outside the QEII Leisure Centre.
